Job Summary
Lead a team of up to ten CAD Designers in overseeing the design of industrial control panels and managing controlled drawings and standards within Autodesk Vault. Support engineering teams by designing electrical schematics, P&IDs, and panel layouts while developing procedures to enforce CAD standards. Analyze productivity enhancements, produce customizations including automated quality checks, and provide technical expertise for transferring CAD data to production CNC machines. Train internal users on corporate standards, new software, and best practices, while offering production and technical support for all CAD software. Conduct regular meetings to disseminate new information and schedule resources for various projects. Requires two-year CAD Technology degree, ten years AutoCAD experience, and UL508A Control Panel design expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year degree in CAD Technology
- Minimum of 10 years experience using AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical
- Essential experience with UL508A Control Panel design
- Driving
- the ability to travel for meetings and projects
