Job Summary
Mechanical Designer with 3-5 years of experience to design, test, and refine mechanical components and systems. Responsibilities include developing mechanical designs and technical specifications, utilizing SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drafting, managing BOMs and ECOs, applying GD&T, performing design analyses with FEA for structural/thermal/fatigue aspects, and integrating welding standards. Must understand Stage Gate processes, ensure traceability and version control via PDM, and communicate concepts and project updates effectively to cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 Years experience in mechanical design
- Proficiency in SolidWorks including part modeling, assembly, drafting
- Experience with SolidWorks PDM Works or similar traceability/version control
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Experience with FEA tools
- Knowledge of welding standards (AWS, ISO)
- Strong communication skills in English
