Job Summary

Provide mechanical design services for midstream oil and gas, industrial, and commercial clients by creating 2-D CAD drawings from 3-D models. Coordinate with engineering disciplines and construction personnel to develop design and construction documents, including PFDs, P&IDs, piping drawings, isometrics, and bills of materials using AutoCAD 2024 and CADWorx 2023. Annotate plans and revise existing drawings per updated models while ensuring adherence to industry standards. Address questions and issues during construction, visit project sites to gather data, and engage in multiple projects simultaneously. Work extended hours as needed to meet critical deadlines, travel approximately 10% to support projects, and make timely decisions using sound judgment.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous piping design/drafting experience (1-3 years)
  • Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD version 2024 and CADWorx2023 and Navisworx 3D piping software
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and MS SharePoint
  • The ability to plan, organize and communicate with team members and client representatives
  • The ability to work extended hours as needed to meet critical deadlines
  • You are physically able to Operate a computer, telephone and other commonly used business-related items
  • You are physically able to Put in extended hours to meet critical deadlines and handle rapidly changing priorities to accomplish project goals
  • You are physically able to Attend and participate in meetings
  • Travel (approximately 10%) as needed to support projects

Desired Qualifications

  • Past experience including diverse experience and a variety of project types is a plus
  • Experience with Plant 3D and Autodesk Revit software is a plus
