Job Summary
CAD Drafter supports the Engineering team by creating and updating manufacturing documentation for over 20 equipment models. You’ll perform 3D modeling in SOLIDWORKS and 2D drafting in AutoCAD, produce fabrication, weldment, assembly, and schematic drawings, and maintain BOMs and MRP data. You’ll collaborate with engineers, designers, shop personnel, suppliers, and customers to keep drawings and engineering data current and production-ready, contributing to design updates and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 1–8 years experience with parametric 3D modeling
- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, and basic Microsoft Office
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well with cross-functional teams
- 3D modeling in SOLIDWORKS and 2D drafting in AutoCAD
- Produce fabrication, weldment, assembly, and schematic drawings
- Maintain BOMs, MRP data, and engineering change documentation
