Job Summary
Complete drawings in accordance with Company and Customer Standards, including all line work, dimensioning, cross references, and CAD requirements. Prepare material take-offs, lists, and schedules to complete project documentation. Coordinate work with other discipline and project team members. Travel to project meetings or job sites to aid in project completion. Requires proficiency in CAD tools, reading vendor drawings, and using spreadsheets and word processing. Some domestic travel may be required, and overtime of 10 to 20 hours per week is necessary when workload demands it.
Required Qualifications
- A two-year technical associate's degree in a Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or Architectural discipline, featuring CAD instruction and computer skills
- Ability to use Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) tools to prepare models and drawings according to Project Requirements, Customer's Standards, and Company's Standards
- Ability to read and interpret Vendor and project drawings and documentation as required to complete assignments
- Proficient in spreadsheets and word processing tasks
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds
- The ability to work overtime, 10 to 20 hours per week when workload is necessary, is required
- Some domestic travel may be required
