CAD Designer - Stainless Tanks

Job Summary
Design ASME pressure vessels, tanks, agitators, platforms, and ladders using 3D CAD modeling, updating existing production designs to meet customer specifications and internal standards. Create and maintain Bills of Material, customer drawings, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation while driving design improvements that enhance quality and reduce cost. Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Managers, Sales, Quality, and Production to deliver customer-specific designs and support additional engineering tasks as assigned. Full-time on-site role Monday–Friday at Watson Metal Masters in Springfield, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering/Design
- 2+ years industrial mechanical engineering/design experience
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Syteline)
- Strong collaboration and professional communication skills
- Must follow safety procedures and wear required PPE (including safety glasses and steel-toe boots)
- Lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Stand/walk for extended periods; frequent hand/arm use; talk/hear
