Job Summary
CAD/BIM Specialist responsible for complex CADD/drafting tasks and BIM/CAD design support within AECOM's Building Engineering Division. Responsibilities include performing advanced CADD assignments, coordinating CADD drawing production, digitizing or tracing sketches using AutoCAD or MicroStation, and applying CADD techniques to support mechanical/electrical design colleagues. The role supports BMS design and integration across varied sectors (office fit-out, mixed-use, industrial, government/public sector, and commercial). The position emphasizes hybrid working arrangements with a mix of office and remote work, and requires minimum qualifications in building services/electrical/computer science with BMS system knowledge and professional qualification progress (Chartership or working toward).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum HNC level related engineering mechanical qualification or Degree in building services engineering, electrical engineering or computer science
- Chartership or working towards
- Good BMS systems knowledge (e.g. Trend, Tridium, Niagara) gained through industry work experience working for a BMS/Control systems manufacturer, as a contractor or specialist systems integrator or in a similar consultancy role.
