Job Summary
Manage the end-to-end proposal and quotation process for domestic and international customers by developing proposals, negotiating deals, and ensuring technical and API compliance. Coordinate cross-functional reviews with Sales, Engineering, HSE, and Supply Chain to compile tender documentation and manage customer orders from quotation through final delivery. Drive competitive pricing while adhering to all safety, health, and environmental requirements. Supervise Quotation Representatives and handle diverse clients in global regions. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and knowledge of API 6A and ISO 9001.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (MA) or equivalent
- Four to ten years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- A thorough knowledge of API 6A
- A thorough knowledge of ISO 9001
- Intermediate computer skills
- Advanced language skills
- Intermediate mathematical skills
- Advanced reasoning ability skills
- Ability to work effectively with global customers, teams, and business requirements
- Ability to comply with all safety, health, environmental requirements, policies and procedures
- Ability to adhere to all API guidelines
- Ability to develop technical acumen to select the appropriate products for quotation
- Ability to ask the correct questions in order to provide proper quotation
- Ability to handle diverse clients in global regions
- Ability to coordinate international intercompany request for pricing and/or products
- Ability to supervise work assignments to Quotation Representatives
- Ability to work in potentially hazardous environments if traveling to a branch or plant location
- Ability to follow all safety guidelines that are required when working in the field, branch or manufacturing facility
- Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to walk or stand periodically throughout the day
- Ability to maintain sustained concentration on computer screens
