Job Summary
Manage the end-to-end proposal and quotation process for domestic and international customers, coordinating with Sales, Engineering, HSE, and Supply Chain to develop accurate, competitive proposals ensuring technical and API compliance. Develop proposals, negotiate with customers, and drive competitive pricing while compiling required qualification or tender documentation. Handle diverse clients in global regions and manage customer orders from quotation through final equipment delivery. Adhere to all safety, health, environmental requirements and API guidelines, utilizing advanced reasoning to select appropriate products. Coordinate international intercompany requests for pricing or products. Supervise work assignments to Quotation Representatives.
Required Qualifications
- A thorough knowledge of API 6A
- A thorough knowledge of ISO 9001
- Bachelor's degree (MA) or equivalent
- Four to ten years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work effectively with global customers, teams, and business requirements
- Intermediate computer skills
- Advanced language skills
- Intermediate mathematical skills
- Advanced reasoning ability skills
- Ability to comply with all safety, health, environmental requirements, policies and procedures relevant to the position
- Ability to adhere to all API guidelines
- Ability to develop technical acumen to select the appropriate products for quotation
- Ability to handle diverse clients in global regions
- Ability to coordinate international intercompany request for pricing and/or products
- Ability to supervise work assignments to Quotation Representatives
- Ability to work in potentially hazardous environments if traveling to a branch or plant location
- Ability to follow all safety guidelines that are required when working in the field, branch or manufacturing facility
- Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
