Job Summary
Manage customer product needs and obtain orders for Surface Wellhead equipment while balancing new and customer-owned assets for optimal financial outcomes. Enter sales orders into Syteline, verify quote accuracy, and maintain open sales orders with correct pricing and part numbers. Perform same-day source planning, identify equipment substitutions, and utilize excess inventory to reduce customer financial impact. Communicate delivery issues and changes to the supply chain and supervisor to meet specifications and deadlines. Establish strategic relationships with customers, provide management reports on sales activity and forecasts, and proactively pursue compensation for expediting costs. Ensure adequate backup parts on service jobs and assist functional areas to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or four to six years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of drilling/production and equipment
- Intermediate Computer Skills
- Intermediate Language Skills
- Intermediate Mathematical Skills
- Intermediate Reasoning Ability
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must comply with all quality, safety, health, and environmental policies, procedures, programs, and regulations
- Must participate in required safety training
- Must demonstrate commitment to a safety-first culture
- Must follow all safety guidelines that are required when working in the field, branch or manufacturing facility
- Must be able to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to talk and hear
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to walk or stand periodically throughout the day
- Must be able to maintain sustained concentration on computer screens
- Must be able to work under deadlines with frequent interruptions
- Must be able to work in potentially hazardous environments if traveling to a branch or plant location
