Job Summary
Install, test, service, and repair wellhead equipment while maintaining customer satisfaction through timely field service. Check equipment compatibility, inspect conditions, dry fit components, and communicate findings to customers. Perform installations and servicing per operating procedures, repair malfunctions, and ensure appropriate tools and parts are available. Prepare field service orders, rental tickets, and required documentation accurately. Maintain the service vehicle, report repairs to the Branch Manager, and provide feedback on field problems. Adhere to all safety policies, wear PPE, and comply with environmental regulations in an industrial environment involving heavy machinery and extreme weather.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3 years related experience and/or training
- Certified in H2S
- Certified in SafeLand
- Certified in DOT when driving vehicles greater than 10,001 GVWR
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift)
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
- Must be able to work in confined spaces when required
- Must be able to operate heavy equipment and power tools
- Must be able to perform repetitive movements
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
- Must be able to work in loud noise levels requiring hearing protection
- Must be able to work in high places and confined spaces
- Must be able to work around moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to work in hot and cold temperatures
- Must be able to work in and around manufacturing equipment, heavy machinery, and potentially hazardous materials
- Must be able to comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations
- Must be able to participate in required safety training
- Must be able to demonstrate commitment to our safety-first culture
- Must be able to comply with all environmental regulations
- Must be able to complete required safety certifications
- Must be able to travel to remote locations
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions
- Must be able to check compatibility of equipment, inspect condition, dry fitting and communicate relevant information with customer
- Must be able to install and test equipment in accordance with operating procedures
- Must be able to service equipment as requested by customers in accordance with maintenance procedures
- Must be able to repair equipment as requested by customers and as necessary due to field malfunctions
- Must be able to maintain service vehicle and tolls/equipment
- Must be able to ensure periodic maintenance consistent with Company policy and promptly report required repairs to Branch Manager
- Must be able to provide feedback to the Company through reporting of field problems and failures to the Branch Manager for processing of Field Complaint Reports
- Must be able to identify and ensure appropriate tools, backup equipment and parts are available at or taken on service job
- Must be able to prepare Field Service Orders, Rental Tickets and customer required documents accurately and completely
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction by providing timely and competent service
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to maintain a drug-free workplace
- Must be able to participate in E-Verify
- Working knowledge of Cactus Wellhead Product
- Working knowledge of Customer Service Best Practices
- Working knowledge of Service Documentation and Record Keeping
- Working knowledge of Wellhead and Valve Equipment Compatibility
- Working knowledge of Wellhead and Valve Installation
- Working knowledge of Wellhead and Valve Operation
- Working knowledge of Wellhead and Valve Maintenance
- Working knowledge of Field Equipment Repair
- Working knowledge of Equipment Troubleshooting of Cactus Wellhead and other OEM Equipment
- Intermediate Computer, Language, and Mathematical Skills
- Intermediate Reasoning Ability
