Cactus Wellhead - Field Service Technician

Job Summary
Perform field service activities including installation, testing, servicing, and repairing wellhead equipment while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. Check equipment compatibility, inspect conditions, dry fit components, and communicate relevant information with customers. Service and repair equipment as requested, prepare field service orders and rental tickets, and ensure appropriate tools and parts are available. Maintain the service vehicle and report required repairs to the Branch Manager. Provide feedback on field problems and failures for processing Field Complaint Reports. Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, including wearing required PPE and operating heavy machinery. Work in an industrial/field environment involving extended standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to extreme weather and hazardous materials.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3 years related experience and/or training
- Certified in H2S
- Certified in SafeLand
- Certified in DOT when driving vehicles greater than 10,001 GVWR
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift)
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
- Must be able to work in confined spaces when required
- Must be able to operate heavy equipment and power tools
- Must be able to perform repetitive movements
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
- Must be able to work in loud noise levels requiring hearing protection
- Must be able to work in high places and confined spaces
- Must be able to work around moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to work in hot and cold temperatures
- Must be able to comply with all environmental regulations
- Must be able to participate in regular safety training
- Must be able to complete required safety certifications
- Must be able to comply with all safety protocols and procedures
- Must be able to travel to remote locations
