Job Summary
Obtain correct HS classification of goods for customs release, verify tariff treatment, and manage data entry and shipment release processes. Responsibilities include entering entries in ACROSS and other systems, obtaining AIRS codes for CFIA entries, updating databases, producing CADEX reports, coordinating with internal departments and customers, and ensuring timely release and compliance with government requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and 2 years of College required
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Release Analyst with a Certified Customs Specialist Designation
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Outlook
- Excellent communication, organizational and inter-personal skills
