Job Summary
Electronics/Cable Technician to fabricate and assemble cable harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies for commercial, aerospace, and defense applications. Works with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to build high-quality electro-mechanical assemblies in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Duties include fabricating cable harnesses, interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, collaborating with design engineers, supporting production planning and parts list development, and ensuring AS9100 quality standards are met. Requires electronics manufacturing experience, ability to read drawings/schematics, and strong communication in a collaborative team setting.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Electronics training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military technical school or related experience
- 2+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoW clearance
- Hands-on experience with cable harness fabrication and mechanical assembly
- Experience assembling electro-mechanical systems, including small-scale assemblies
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Working knowledge of production planning and quality control in an AS9100 environment
- Sufficient computer skills to support manufacturing documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced setting
