Cable Technician Technical Lead

Job Summary
Lead and support cable manufacturing technicians across shifts to ensure equipment reliability, safety compliance, and effective execution of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. Coordinate with site leadership on OSHA compliance, hazardous waste handling, injury reporting, and emergency response. Develop and manage technician schedules, train and certify staff, and track maintenance performance using KPIs. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and customer service to troubleshoot manufacturing issues, support new product launches, and maintain facility systems (mechanical/electrical/plumbing/HVAC/refrigeration/waste management). Ensure safe operation of equipment and procure tools, equipment, and spare parts as needed, while following Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in a technical role within a manufacturing environment
- Technical or Engineering degree preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active work
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (90+ minutes)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to analyze equipment issues and implement effective solutions
