Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair structured cabling and wireless access systems in new construction commercial environments, including hospitals, data centers, and retail facilities. Test newly installed cables to ensure compliance with specifications and execute troubleshooting procedures for low voltage systems. Install cable support structures, patch panels, and faceplates while adhering to company standards. Maintain a professional appearance and exhibit a positive attitude throughout the 40+ hour work week. Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.
Required Qualifications
- Conduct structured cabling, security/access control, and related cable system installations for large commercial projects
- Maintain a professional appearance and exhibit a positive and respectful attitude
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Possess valid car insurance
- Possess reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a company-standard drug screen
- Ability to pass a background check
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs
- Available for 40+ hours per week
- Experience in installing and troubleshooting low voltage systems
- Termination experience with Category 5, 5E, 6, 6a, fiber strands over 100, and copper
- Proficiency in finish work, including the installation of faceplates and device labeling
