Job Summary
Install and test network cabling including Cat.5e, Cat.6, fiber optic, and coaxial risers while interpreting CAD drawings to adhere to BICSI, EIA, and TIA specifications. Perform pre-cabling preparation, install patch panels, punch down 66/110 blocks, and terminate various data and voice jacks. Drive to job sites in inclement weather, handling heavy manual tasks up to 100 pounds while wearing required PPE. Must possess a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and own all necessary tools within 60 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with commercial cable installation
- Previousexperience with network cables (Cat5, Cat6, etc.)
- Valid Driver's Licenserequired
- Clean driving recordrequired
- Car insurance policy meeting DataVox standards
- Haveavehicle in good working condition
- Must havea workingmobile phone
- Must pass background check and drug screen
