Job Summary
We are seeking Cable Technicians to pull and route CAT 5 or CAT 6 cable in new construction commercial environments. The role includes terminating phone jacks and installing support structures. Immediate openings are available.
Required Qualifications
- Active Low Voltage Trainee Card Required
- 2+ years of experience in a commercial environment
- Experience running or bending conduit
- Troubleshooting networking issues
- Your own basic telecom tools including punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, PPE (safety gear), etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC Standards
- Ability to read and understand schematic and line diagrams
- Fiber experience including Anaerobic Terminations, SC and LC Connectors, and Splicing
