Job Summary
Field Technician at Spectrum responsible for installing and repairing services, educating customers on usage, and solving technical challenges in outdoor environments. Role is entry-level with on-the-job training and a clear progression path from Technician I to Technician IV with pay increases at progression levels. Requires strong problem-solving, communication, reliability, and the ability to travel to customer premises; use of hand tools and computers; valid driver's license; and willingness to work outdoors across varied conditions. Compensation starts at $20/hour with potential to reach $22.75/hour, plus benefits and opportunities for certifications and leadership roles.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Valid Driver’s license with safe driving record within company standards required
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in using computers and software applications
- Competent in using hand tools
- Ability to travel to and from assigned locations as necessary
- Physical ability to walk over varied terrain and weather, lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, work outdoors in various conditions
