Job Summary
As a Field Technician at Spectrum, you’ll be on the front lines, installing and repairing services and educating customers on their use. The role is outdoors and active, with opportunities for self-progression and career growth from Field Technician I to IV (10% increases with progression levels) and potential certification opportunities. Training is provided to equip you to solve technical challenges in diverse environments, including travel to customer premises, company facilities, and other locations. The position emphasizes hands-on work with tools, problem solving, customer interactions, and ongoing development through the Broadband Apprenticeship Program and related career pathways.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Valid Driver’s license with safe driving record
- Proficiency in using computers and software applications
- Competent in using hand tools
- Fluent in English
