Job Summary
Lead and supervise a team of cable pullers during daily operations on a major industrial construction project at the Samsung Semiconductor Plant in Taylor, TX. Coordinate cable pulling activities with electricians, foremen, and project supervisors by reading blueprints, interpreting cable schedules, and planning installation routes. Assign daily tasks, monitor crew productivity, and ensure cables are pulled, routed, secured, and labeled according to specifications. Enforce OSHA regulations and site safety requirements while inspecting completed work for quality compliance. Train new crew members on installation techniques and resolve field issues to minimize delays. Maintain daily production reports and communicate project progress. Perform hands-on cable pulling alongside the crew when needed. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of industrial cable pulling experience, 1 year leading crews, and OSHA certifications. Start time is 6:30 AM with overtime and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of industrial or commercial cable pulling experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience leading or supervising cable pulling crews
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when project demands require
- Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work at heights for extended periods
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, heat, dust, and noise
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Experience on semiconductor, manufacturing, data center, or large industrial construction projects
- Familiarity with Samsung site procedures
- Experience leading crews of 5–15 cable pullers
- Experience coordinating work with licensed electricians
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot installation issues in the field
- Experience using cable pulling equipment, tuggers, cable feeders, and tension monitoring equipment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Korean)
