Cable Print Operator - Weekend

Job Summary
Operate the cable print machine in a high-volume cable manufacturing environment, safely executing production processes and reading job orders. Enter data into Epicor, follow SOPs for setup and operation, perform daily production and quality checks, complete tally and scrap reports, and maintain required paperwork. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, read and comprehend English plant directives, and use hand tools as needed. The role runs on a weekend schedule (Friday–Sunday, 5:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) with benefits and equal employment opportunities. Focus areas include process adherence, data entry accuracy, quality control, and teamwork to ensure on-spec cable products.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in machine operation or mechanical ability & aptitude to understand how manufacturing equipment works together in a line to produce high quality products
- 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend plant directives written in English
- Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required
- Must adhere to PPE requirements
