Job Summary
Field Technician at Spectrum installs and repairs services, educates customers on usage, and works outdoors in dynamic environments. The role is entry-level with training provided, and there is an opportunity to progress through the self-progression plan from Field Technician I to Field Technician IV with 10% increases at each level and bonus payments for coursework. The position includes potential industry certification and opportunities to advance into leadership roles, with on-the-job training and career growth supported by Spectrum’s programs.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Schedule: Ability to travel to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary
- Language: Fluent in English
- Technical skills: Proficiency in using computers and software applications. Competent in using hand tools
- Abilities: Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability
- Valid Driver’s license with safe driving record within company standards required
- Physical: Lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders up to 32 feet, work outdoors in various conditions
