Job Summary
Field Technician at Spectrum who installs and repairs services, educates customers on use, and advances along a self-progression plan. Entry-level role with on-the-job training, outdoor/field work, and opportunities to progress from Field Technician I to IV with 10% pay increases per progression level and bonus coursework. Earn $20.50/hour from day one with potential for certification and future leadership roles. Emphasizes solving technical challenges, working in dynamic outdoor environments, building relationships with customers and colleagues, and staying active while serving residential customers across field sites.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Schedule: Ability to travel to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary
- Language: Fluent in English
- Technical skills: Proficiency in using computers and software applications; competent in using hand tools
- Abilities: Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability
- Valid Driver’s license with safe driving record within company standards required
- Physical: Lift up to 75 lbs; climb ladders; work outdoors in various conditions; operate a company vehicle
