Job Summary
Entry-level Field Technician at Spectrum responsible for installing and repairing services outdoors, educating customers on usage, and progressing through a self-progression plan from Field Technician I to Field Technician IV with 10% increases per level. Requires a High School diploma or GED (or equivalent), fluent English, valid driver's license, ability to travel to customer premises, and physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders up to 32 feet, and work outdoors. Training provided to succeed and opportunities for career growth, including potential certifications and leadership paths.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Schedule: Ability to travel to and from assigned customer premises
- Language: Fluent in English
- Technical skills: Proficiency in using computers and software applications; competent in using hand tools
- Abilities: Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility and reliability
- Valid Driver’s license with safe driving record within company standards required
- Physical: Lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders up to 32 feet, work outdoors in various conditions
