Job Summary
Lead complete harness manufacturing operations at the flagship plant, driving process excellence and customer satisfaction across major automotive projects. Manage end-to-end design, development, validation, and production while interfacing directly with OEM customers for technical queries. Oversee cross-functional teams in production, quality, and R&D, optimizing processes to reduce cycle time and improve quality. Supervise PPAP, APQP, and ISO/TS 16949 documentation, monitor project milestones and KPIs, and collaborate with SCM for component planning. Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen and Six Sigma to ensure regulatory and safety compliance. Provide training and mentoring to junior engineers and supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical or equivalent
- Minimum 15 years' experience in cable harness design and manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of wiring diagrams, schematics, and harness routing tools
- Experience with ISO/TS 16949, PPAP, and IATF audits
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Leadership mindset with team-building ability
