Job Summary
Detect, troubleshoot and resolve outages in aerial/underground coaxial cable; perform emergency restoration, preventative maintenance, testing/adjustments of components, monitor/repair cable leakage, assist with fiber splicing, complete work orders and logs, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Requires 2+ years telecom tech experience, high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, driver-friendly, basic computer skills, problem solving, time management, teamwork, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Includes comprehensive benefits and base pay in WA with potential bonuses/commission.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years telecom technician experience
- Valid driver's license
- Bucket Certified; Ohm’s
- Understand the Outside Plant
- Knowledge of Hand or Power Tools
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to read and interpret maps
