Job Summary
Lead the Cable Department at the Hertford warehouse, supervising the cable team and ensuring cables, connectors, and consumables are tested, organized, and prepared to high standards. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, stock levels, quality control, testing, inspection, labeling, and equipment deployment for projects; coordinating with warehouse and operations teams; maintaining asset records; and supporting loading/unloading and general warehouse duties. Requires hands-on experience with professional AV, lighting, power, or data cabling, prior leadership or mentoring experience in a technical/warehouse setting, strong organizational and communication skills, and occasional travel to other UK locations. Emphasis on safety, documentation, and maintaining readiness for project deployment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with professional AV, lighting, power, or data cabling is essential
- Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring a team in a warehouse or technical environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Organised and able to prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using computer systems and asset management software
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally to other company locations as required
