Job Summary
Cabinet Service Technician to perform warranty repairs on cabinets, analyze job sites prior to beginning a job to ensure that quality repairs can be done, conduct cabinet performance tests, and support a safe work environment on the job site. Responsibilities also include delivering excellent customer service, following the company code of conduct, addressing problems and complaints with patience, and obtaining necessary training to repair products safely and efficiently; position offers full-time benefits including health/dental/vision, disability, life insurance, a company 401(k), vacation and paid holidays, vendor incentives, room for growth, and military-friendly hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of cabinets, building materials and tools
- Possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work under time constraints
- Possess strong math skills
- Ability to follow directions both written and verbal
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Valid drivers license, able to pass qualification to operate Carter pickup truck and van
- Pass all Carter Lumber employment requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to climb a ladder to heights up to 32’
- Good verbal and written communication skills
