Job Summary
Cabinet Painter/Spray Booth Specialist sought for ProCraft Cabinetry Chicago. Experienced in high-end cabinet finishing, surface preparation, masking, and spray finishing. Responsibilities include matching colors and sheens to showroom samples, documenting cabinet damage, mastering finishing techniques for various cabinet styles, performing surface prep (cleaning, sanding, patching, priming, masking), cleaning and organizing cabinet components, patching imperfections, handling hardware, preparing work areas, safely operating hand tools and painting equipment, processing orders to customer specifications, and notifying management of irreparable flaws. Ideal candidate has 3+ years of professional painting experience, strong attention to detail, ability to manage timelines, clear communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and valid USA work authorization; bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, on-site in Hillside, IL with benefits offered. Salary $16-$20 per hour (negotiable based on experience).
Required Qualifications
- Professional painter with at least 3 years of equivalent experience
- Must possess a valid USA work authorization ID
- Schedule: Monday-Friday. 8 hours shift. 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
- On-Site Full-Time in Hillside, IL
- Ability to lift 35-50 pounds
- Bilingual Spanish and English preferred
