Job Summary
Fabricates complex high-quality furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies for aircraft interiors and equipment, interpreting material specifications and engineering drawings to meet design requirements. Collaborates with supervision to ensure compliance with customer-approved designs, uses a variety of woodworking tools, and champions safety and lean process improvements. Mentors less experienced technicians, coordinates with the lead to delegate tasks, conducts safety audits, maintains shop equipment, and adapts to schedule changes. Requires strong communication skills, ability to read/write/speak English, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds on the first shift. Knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of cabinetmaking experience
- experience in aerospace industry preferred
- working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications preferred
- read, write, speak, and understand English
