Job Summary
Under general supervision, fabricates aircraft furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies using aircraft specifications, design and engineering drawings with safety, quality, detail and productivity. Assembles and installs cabinet shells with hardware; uses power tools; adheres to 5S and safety policies; collaborates with lead and higher skilled technicians to improve processes using Lean Six-Sigma. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English; able to lift up to 40 pounds; able to work first shift; no travel. Requires HS diploma/GED and 2 years cabinetmaking experience; aerospace experience preferred; no visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years cabinetmaking experience
- working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications (preferred)
- experience in aerospace industry (preferred)
