Job Summary
Cabinet Finisher IV with Weekend shift to prepare, apply, and touch up finishes on aircraft furniture and components, supervise and mentor peers, and assist leads on projects. Requires high school diploma or GED and 4 years of wood finishing experience; advanced cabinet finishing knowledge; aerospace experience preferred. Responsibilities include performing complex repairs to finished surfaces, applying finishes with spray equipment, interpreting material specs to meet design/engineering requirements, coordinating with Design to ensure design sample compliance, supporting safety and 5S standards, mentoring junior technicians, and driving process improvements using Lean Six-Sigma tools. Must be able to read, write, and understand English; able to climb ladders and lift up to 40 pounds; weekend shift; on-site in Appleton, WI.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in wood finishing processes
- Advanced knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products
- Experience in aerospace industry preferred
