Job Summary
Entry-level Cabinet Finisher I at Gulfstream Aerospace (Savannah, GA). Under direct supervision, learns and performs basic cabinet finish preparation and application using design and engineering drawings. Responsibilities include preparing and finishing furniture, following safety/5S/housekeeping policies, using sanding/polishing/adhesives/solvents/masking mediums, reading and using material tracking, and supporting related initiatives. Must be able to read/write/speak English, climb ladders, work in restricted areas, lift up to 40 pounds, and work multiple shifts. Full-time position with up to 25% travel; no visa sponsorship provided.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Wood working, wood finishing or auto body and painting experience in a technical environment or completion of Technical Certificate in cabinet making preferred
- read, write, speak, and understand the English language
