Job Summary

Assemble a wide variety of interior fixtures including cabinets, galleys, desks, and bulkheads into aircraft according to blueprints while selecting appropriate materials and tooling. Perform cabinetry finishing operations such as sanding, spraying, staining, and buffing under the direction of a Crew Chief. Utilize power tools like dual pump guns, sanders, and UV equipment to modify cabinetry and reassemble hardware as needed. Comply with all safety practices and participate in facility general housekeeping efforts while promoting company procedures. Train on the first shift before moving to the second shift once expectations are met. Prior cabinetry experience in the aviation industry is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have proven technical/mechanical aptitude
  • Must have proven experience using a variety of hand and power tools (power planners, jointers, table saws, routers, sanders, miter boxes and portable power equipment.)
  • Schedule: Will train on 1st shift 6am-2:30pm w/possible OT and then move to 2nd shift Mon – Fri 2p-10:30p w/possible OT (once trained and expectations are met)

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior cabinetry experience in the aviation industry preferred
