Job Summary
Construct custom cabinets per specifications and design requirements for residential and commercial projects. Operate woodworking machines including table saws, shapers, wide belt sanders, and hand tools while adhering to safety standards. Interpret shop drawings and apply strong mathematical skills to ensure accurate builds. Collaborate with owners and employees to meet project timelines and deadlines. Troubleshoot issues and resolve challenges on the job. Requires minimum two years of cabinet shop experience, physical stamina for extended standing and lifting, and strong teamwork and communication abilities. Located in Coal City, IL.
Required Qualifications
- MINIMUM of 2 years experience as a cabinet builder or similar role in a cabinet shop
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, material and tools
- The ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Ability to be able to operate woodworking machines including, but not limited to table saws, shapers, wide belt sanders, hand sanders & hand tools
- Ability to work under time constraints to meet specific deadlines
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting and standing for extended periods of time
- Strong Mathematical skills
- Strong teamwork, leadership and verbal
