Job Summary
Builds high-end aircraft cabinetry using veneers, laminates and composites in a timely, quality-focused manner. Reads customer specifications and engineering drawings; works with aerospace materials; prepares kerf and fiberglass panels; builds drawers and cabinets; lays out and routes for switches, cup holders and inlays; installs inlays; labels parts for re-assemble; fabricates small sheet metal parts; manufactures items for final assembly adjustments; bonds hinge blocks; maintains safety and shop organization; demonstrates adaptability, initiative, teamwork, and a commitment to quality while meeting production schedules. Also notes ability to travel as required and work outside core hours as needed, with emphasis on English communication and use of hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years aircraft cabinetry experience
- US Citizen Required - facility that requires special access
