Job Summary
Assemble cabinet components and wood products according to detailed drawings and specifications. Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools to sand and prepare surfaces, then apply stains, paints, and finishes to achieve desired appearance and durability. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications while collaborating with team members to optimize production processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols, assist in inventory management and stock replenishment, and read technical drawings. Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Assembler, Sander, Finisher, or similar role within the woodworking industry
- Proficiency in woodworking tools and equipment, including sanders, saws, and finishing tools
- Knowledge of wood types, stains, paints, and finishing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials
Desired Qualifications
- Certification or formal training in woodworking or a related field
- Previous experience in custom cabinetry or woodworking shops
