Job Summary
Lead and assist cabin cleaning teams during daily aircraft operations, assigning duties to ensure timely turnaround. Ensure aircraft interiors, including lavatories, galleys, and seating areas, are sanitized per airline standards and inspect completed work for quality and compliance. Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff while monitoring productivity and communicating updates to management. Respond quickly to operational changes, delayed flights, and urgent requests, reporting supply shortages or safety concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness of supply areas and complete required operational documentation. Adhere to all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and airport regulations in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Six (6) months of janitorial, customer service or hospitality experience
- Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Basic communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation
- Previous aircraft cabin cleaning, janitorial, hospitality, or airport operations experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb stairs, and reach frequently
- Ability to work safely in confined aircraft cabin spaces
- Airport ramp and aircraft cabin environment
- Exposure to aircraft noise, cleaning chemicals, and varying weather conditions
- Fast-paced operational setting with tight turnaround schedules
- Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting
- Must be able to take verbally direct in English
- Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- Must be in proper uniform or business attire as directed by company officials
- Identification badges must always be visible
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achievement of company objectives
