Cabin Dispatcher

Job Summary
Enforce cabin safety and security while instructing teams on operational functions. Review daily reports to ensure timely task completion and communicate efficiently with AA, crews, tower, and upper management. Assign flights to cabin service crews via the GHDS system and coordinate with other departments to prevent delays. Report operational issues promptly and utilize technology such as Connect me, Saber, and Cabin Appearance to support airline requests. Ensure all flights are properly assigned and services are reported for billing. Work under pressure in a team environment, adhering to security requirements and grooming policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of planning or dispatching relevant experience
- 1 year or more of airport operation ground service, or relevant experience
- Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Suites, i.e., Excel and Word
- Ability to speak and understand Spanish / English
- Great leadership skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and delegate tasks
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Professional appearance and adherence to company grooming/uniform policy
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to report to work on a regular and timely basis
- Flexibility to work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed during irregular operations
- Ability to speak and be understood
- Ability to hear, and comprehend the English language
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift approximately 70 pounds
- Ability to relocate in the event of an emergency
- Neat and professional appearance
