Cabana Concierge - (Half Moon Cay - Bahamas)

Job Summary
Greet and escort guests to assigned cabanas, supervise team tasks to ensure efficient completion, and verify that all amenities are properly prepared and maintained. Periodically check on guests to confirm comfort and satisfaction, while arranging necessary transportation via trams or facility services. Uphold environmental, health, safety, and sanitation policies, reporting any damages or equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisors. Document operational challenges and assist with minor maintenance or coordination with maintenance teams as needed. Liaise with guest experience managers to support special projects and events, ensuring seamless cabana operations and overall guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Must be certified in First AID and CPR
- Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality, guest services, or recreational facility operations
- Must be physically fit
- Must be able to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 15–25 pounds
- Flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory or leadership experience
- Additional education in Hospitality or a related field
- cabana, poolside, or beach club experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
- familiarity with reservation or guest management software
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and maintain high service standards in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations relevant to hospitality or food service
- Fluency in conversational English
