Job Summary
Experienced Workers’ Compensation Adjuster needed to manage a full caseload across California in a fully remote role. Responsibilities include handling CA WC claims from FNOL to settlement, investigating and evaluating claim responses, coordinating with medical providers, employers, and legal counsel, negotiating settlements, ensuring compliance with CA WC laws, preparing detailed claim documentation and reports, communicating with stakeholders, and mentoring junior adjusters as needed. Must have strong CA WC knowledge, analytical and organizational skills, and be able to work independently in a remote environment; CA license is preferred but not required depending on employer.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Workers’ Compensation adjusting experience in California
- Valid CA Adjuster License (preferred but not always required depending on employer)
- Strong understanding of CA WC statutes, regulations, and fee schedules
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and organization skills
- Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Proficiency with claims systems and Microsoft Office suite
