Job Summary
CA-WA Mortgage Retail Sales Consultant (SAFE) at Wells Fargo in Consumer Lending within Home Lending. In this role you solicit residential mortgages, produce high quality loans, build relationships with realtors, builders, financial professionals, bank stores, past customers, and other sources, maintain visibility for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the marketplace, and present mortgage loan products based on client needs. You will receive customer applications, quote rates and points, analyze and offer loan programs tailored to client needs, review financial data, explain mortgage programs, and ensure compliance with underwriting requirements and regulatory standards. The position requires SAFE registration and compliance with related LO qualification requirements; occasional travel and flexible scheduling may be required. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Mortgage Retail Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education
- This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction
- SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date.
- LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards
