Job Summary

The Telephonic Case Manager II coordinates resources and develops personalized care plans for patients, focusing on quality treatment and timely returns to work. This role involves assessing treatment plans, communicating with physicians, and making medical recommendations. Essential skills include independent decision-making, multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication. A Bachelor’s degree, current RN license, and 3 years of clinical experience are required, with URAC recognized certification to be completed within 3 years if not already obtained.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing
  • Current RN Licensure in state of operation
  • 3 or more years of recent clinical experience, preferably in rehabilitation
  • URAC recognized Case Management certification required to be obtained within 3 years of hire if no nationally recognized certification is present at time of hire

Desired Qualifications

  • BSN preferred
  • Strong clinical background in orthopedics, neurology, or rehabilitation preferred
  • Strong cost containment background, such as utilization review or managed care helpful
  • Certification as a CIRS or CCM preferred
