Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist, Night shift at CVS Health in National City, CA. Lead the pharmacy team, dispense medications safely, counsel patients, and immunize as part of expanding patient care. Oversee pharmacy workflow, coaching of technicians, and ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations. Contribute to inventory management with emphasis on protecting cold chain products, resolve insurance and medication issues, and support patient care with pharmacist-delivered clinical services (e.g., COVID/Flu immunizations and Hormonal Contraception where permissible). Maintain and expand clinical and technical skills through required trainings and CMEs, while maintaining patient safety and a compassionate, collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
