Job Summary
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations within the donation center. Provide high levels of customer service and maintain a clean and professional environment. Set up and prepare for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures, accurately labeling samples and ensuring donor safety throughout the process. Operate and maintain plasmapheresis machines, document any exceptions, and troubleshoot machine alarms. Must possess strong communication skills, reliable attendance, and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preference given to candidates with at least three months of experience in a medical or healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals required.
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required.
- Ability to perform venipunctures required.
