Job Summary
Pharmacy Manager responsible for leading and directing pharmacy staff (pharmacists and technicians) and overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations, including patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, inventory and workflow management, and financial profitability. Drive patient-care programs, identify growth opportunities, and motivate and develop the pharmacy team to deliver enhanced health outcomes and differentiating CVS from competitors. Strong emphasis on leadership, collaboration, and accountability to ensure high-quality care and an efficient, compliant, and patient-centered operation.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g. APhA)
- Listed on the pharmacy state license as the ‘pharmacist in charge’
- Submission of required information/documents to state PMP administrator to register for PMP access
