Job Summary
Lead Pharmacy Staff and oversee the operation of the pharmacy in a CVS Health setting. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability and loss prevention. You will motivate, develop and supervise the Pharmacy Support Staff, identify opportunities to drive growth and performance, implement solutions to achieve goals, adapt to change in a dynamic community healthcare setting, and foster a team culture focused on caring, energy and collaboration. The role emphasizes applying pharmacology knowledge to promote healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors, with duties including managing workflow, regulatory adherence, and patient-care program delivery. A Doctorate/Profes sional-level degree (Pharm.D.) or equivalent is expected, along with an active license and immunization credentials.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g. APhA)
- Listed on the pharmacy state license as the ‘pharmacist in charge’
- Submission of required information/documents to your state PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in states with active PMP for pharmacist use)

- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree
- Immunization Certification
- Pharmacist in Charge designation on state license
