Job Summary
Lead and direct the Pharmacy Staff, including Pharmacists and Technicians, while managing all aspects of pharmacy operations such as patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, inventory, and financial profitability. Drive growth by identifying critical business opportunities, implementing solutions to improve performance, and leading the team to achieve specified goals. Balance assignments to maximize colleagues' strengths, address development opportunities, and decrease knowledge gaps. Maintain a 'team' culture that promotes caring, energy, and enthusiasm while adapting to change in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
- Listed on the pharmacy state license as the 'pharmacist in charge'
- Submission of required information/documents to your state PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in states with active PMP for pharmacist use)
