Job Summary
Evaluates donor eligibility for plasmapheresis and immunizations by conducting assessments and reviews informed consent forms. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while managing donor interactions and health assessments. Trains as a Donor Center Technician I and may mentor other Medical Professionals. Requires a nursing license or EMT certification, strong assessment skills, and ability to manage emergency situations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related educational program (RN or LPN)
- Current and valid nursing license or EMT certification as per state requirements
- Must maintain current CPR certification
- One year experience in a hospital, field care, or plasma center preferred
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
